Angaron is a full contact medieval combat organization in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania area that uses foam padded weapons or boffers. Participants assume the role of a persona that could have lived in pre-firearms history or fantasy, dress in the period and culture's clothing and meet on the battlefield for combat.

Angaron was formed in the Spring of 1998 as one of the many chapters of Dagorhir Battlegames that stretch across the nation.

Friday, 11 April 2008 Ragnarok XXIII details can be found in the menu at left if you are signed in as a registered member of the realm. Please contact me ASAP if you are planning on participating in the food plan this year. I need payment in full of $50/person for the week if you are planning on eating with us by JUNE 1, 2008. No later. The menu as it stands right now is in its first revision. I will be making adjustments, adding further menu details, and clarifying details in the next few days. If you have any food allergies or special dietary needs, please let me know NOW so that I can plan accordingly. Don't forget that preregistration ends on May 31, 2008 so get your pre-regs in to avoid standing in line when you get to Spring Valley. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me. Weekend of 12/08-12/09

Friday, 07 December 2007 Wow ok, there's alot going on this weekend, sorry to post it all so late. ------------------------ DEMO ON SATURDAY! Alex (Wonko) has been super cool and booked us a demo for Saturday, starting at 11 AM. It is being held at the Penn Hills Library. Good luck to all, I hope everyone can make it out! -------------------------- FILMING ON SUNDAY!!! I just recieved an email that the local film group that wants to film us will be out Sunday at 2 PM to film our practice. Please get there early and wear garb, anyone without garb will be mocked continuously till you either break down in tears or turn into a gasous state. Boy I wish i was joking. No quarter! See you all there, I plan on being back in Pittsburgh before then, so I WILL be there. Sleep tight angaron, we have a busy weekend.
